Resistant strep and Bronchitis?

I found out that i had strep on on tuesday i been on amoxicllin since then. well i have not got any better i went back to the doctor today and was given a shot in the which still hurts of penicillin ( i had major anxiety over this thank god i had no allergic reaction. I was told to start z-pack tomm because the amox. was not cutting it. My stomach hurts with non stop reflux not to mention the killer cough, painfull lungs and non stop phlegm. My boyfriend is being treated with z-pack for beta strep since tuesday and has made no Progress . i think he's on the way to have bronchitis too. Has anyone experienced such resistant and been so many antibiotics??
