1996 Plymouth Voyager Won't Turn Over?

My 2.4 engine died as I was driving down the road. I was able to have it towed back home. It would try and turn over, but wouldn't actually start. It sat for two months, and of course the battery died. I bought a new battery today, and still no turn over. I checked and I'm getting compression, and fuel sprays out if I give it a turn(after taking off that little black knob). There's no clicking sound, its actually trying to turn over. I'm running out of money and time. I have got to figure out whats wrong with this car.. Any help is appreciated.
