What upgrades can I do to my 98 Contour SE?

I was at the local street race hangout tonight (no street racing going on just alot of cool cars and everyone shows them off). Most of the cars there were Acura Integras and Honda Preludes and they kept reving their engines and looking at their engines and making small adjustments and I just want something I can show off as well. Any cheap investments that I could make? I already have a Magnaflow Exhaust system so I need some other stuff I can do to it. Thanks for any help
